Iraca Palma artisans gather, color, and dry the palm fibers for days to ensure that the pieces are properly cured before beginning. After curing, they cut the strong lengths of each palm fiber to specifications. Then begins the process of hand weaving intricate designs with colored palm fibers to form all-natural and sustainably farmed ornate placemats.
