Artisans from a small town in the Andean region of Colombia handcraft these stunning leather bowls. The leather is first painted and then the design sewn. To shape the leather, it is dampened with a sponge and placed on a wooden form, and nailed down to keep it in place. After drying for at least one full day, the leather is removed from the wood form and polished. The leather shapes are glued together and handsewn to create unique leather bowls.
These beautifully handcrafted bowls can be decorative or used for small items.
