In collaboration with Wayuu weavers from the Guajira region of Colombia, we have designed handwoven napkins to complement our placemats and table runner. Using traditional Wayuu weaving techniques we've redesigned for the modern home. Wayuu women are known for weaving intricate and colorful handbags, and we worked with master weavers to create a design, color, and pattern that is totally unique. Each napkin has a handwoven accent piece matching the set. The accent weaving along the edge was hand sewn on to each napkin.
Sold in sets of two. The napkins are 100% linen cotton, except for the handwoven accent. They can be washed in cold water and ironed. The iron should not be used on the accent piece.
Each napkin is made by hand and therefore is unique. Measures about 17 inches wide by 17 inches long.
