These Iraca Palma placemats are made in Colombia by talented artisans who weave every placemat by hand. First they gather, color, and dry the palm fibers for days to ensure that the pieces are properly cured before beginning. After curing, they cut the strong lengths of each palm fiber to specifications. Then begins the process of hand weaving intricate designs with colored palm fibers to form all-natural and sustainably farmed ornate placemats. The pattern on the round placemats requires extra skill to complete the intricate pattern on each placemat.
Set of Four. These placemats are made of pink and navy palm fibers, orange and natural, black and natural, and khaki and natural.
