Artisans from a small town in the Andean region of Colombia make these stunning leather bowls. The leather is first painted and then the design sewn. To shape the leather, it is dampened with a sponge and placed on a wooden form, and nailed down to keep it in place. After drying for at least one full day, the leather is removed from the wood form and polished. The leather shapes are glued together and sewn to create unique leather bowls.
