Designed exclusively by our Founder after visiting the Taj Mahal, this modern and unique lapis, mother of pearl, and marble tray is a beautiful serving piece or decorative accent tray. We work with artisans in Agra, India who carve out the marble and carefully inlay lapis stones and mother of pearl that form our unique geometric design. The artisans are so exact with fitting the inlaid stones that the surface is perfectly smooth to the touch and is food safe.
We work with a family that has been making inlay for 5 generations. This highly skilled ancient art form is the same luminescent marble and process used to create exquisite designs in the Taj Mahal.
