Wholesale Terms & Conditions
Purple Nest Design's intention is to develop long-term relationships with our business partners. We welcome the opportunity to discuss these terms and conditions with you.
Account Approval
Wholesale accounts are subject to approval by Purple Nest Design. We reserve the right to accept or decline any wholesale application. Approved accounts agree to purchase items for resale only, not for personal use.
Wholesale Minimums & Discounts
Our wholesale minimum order is $750. For larger volume orders over $5,000, we work with each business individually on volume pricing.
Prices & Quotations
Any official Purple Nest Design quotation is valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices on our website are subject to change without notice.
Minimum Advertised Price Policy
Wholesale partners agree not to advertise Purple Nest Design products below our stated MAP. This protects the integrity of our brand and ensures a fair market for all retail partners. Please contact us for current MAP guidelines.
Payment Terms
Payment is due 100% at time of purchase. Shipping charges are invoiced separately when your items are ready to ship. Full payment is also required before items are released for importation and shipment.
Payment Methods
- Credit card: A 2% transaction fee applies (if assessed by our processor).
- Wire transfer: A flat $25 fee applies.
Shipping
The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs within the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska. Shipping is calculated at 8% of the total order value and is invoiced when items are ready to ship. International shipping costs are evaluated independently and may be higher than the standard 8% rate. The buyer is also responsible for all importation fees, duties, and taxes to the end destination.
Lead Time on Orders
We carry in-stock items, but many orders are fulfilled directly through our artisan partners in Peru and Ecuador. Lead times are 12 to 20 weeks from order placement, depending on the artisan and order specifics. Custom or larger orders may take longer. We will communicate estimated timelines at the time of order.
Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled once production has begun with our artisan partners. If you need to discuss a cancellation before production starts, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Custom Designs
Custom designs and colorways are available. A sampling fee of $250 plus applicable shipping is required before any custom production begins. Custom orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once sampling is approved and production is underway.
Artisan Designs & Natural Variation
Our pieces are handloomed, handwoven, and hand-finished by skilled artisan weavers. Each item is made by hand, so there may be slight variance between pieces. Dye stocks can also differ between production runs, meaning color variance is possible. These differences are a natural and celebrated part of handcrafted goods and are not considered defects.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 7 days of receipt with photos and a description of the issue. We will work with you to resolve it promptly, whether through replacement, credit, or another agreed solution.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Items must be in brand-new condition, unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Items returned outside this window or showing signs of use will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error.
Intellectual Property
Purple Nest Design retains all rights to our designs, brand assets, and imagery. Wholesale partners may use approved product images and brand assets for the purpose of selling Purple Nest Design products. Any other use requires written permission.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from a wholesale relationship with Purple Nest Design will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
